In the past few years much research work has been carried out in University College London, and other centres, on the beneficial effect of red light on slowing and reversing the effects of age on our eyes.
All our tissues deteriorate as we get older. Sadly, this applies especially to our eyes and it tends to manifest itself as a lack of sensitivity of our eyes and a worsening of vision in poor light. The ageing process gathers pace from 40.
This has nothing to do with whether we need glasses or not. It is also unrelated to other medical conditions that we may develop as regards our eyes.
The light box enclosed, generates a specific and very long wavelength of red light. This is 670nm and beyond.
It has been shown that by staring at light of this wavelength for 2-3 minutes a day for 2weeks will reverse some of the effects of ageing upon our eyes.
Please note, this will not correct other problems with our eyes. You are still going to need regular check ups at your optometrist and you won’t suddenly be able to throw your glasses away! If you use any eye drops for an eye condition, then please continue to do so.

Everyone over the age of 40 gained some benefit.
No side effects were reported after 8 years of studies.
